Yesterday we did no school work! We were celebrating Matariki. Matariki is a time to celebrate and get together. It means the maori new year is here. During the day of celebrating we did three different activities. The first activate we did was making a stop motion. My group made a stop motion about a maori legend. It was hard and challenging. We tried our best but my friend Jacob punched the play doh characters so we did not finish.
For our next rotation we were making kites. I got to hot glue gun them together. I think that was the funnest job to do. We got to hot glue gun two kites together. It was really fun.
The last active was cooking fry bread! It was so yum! First we mixed self raising flour and water and then we rolled it and then we cooked it. You should try it!
The day was great my favorite activate was eating fry bread.
